The Cattle Egret is a species of heron found in various parts of the world, including the Dominican Republic. This bird is known for its distinctive white plumage and its association with cattle and other large mammals, which it often follows to feed on insects and small animals disturbed by their movement. In the Dominican Republic, the Cattle Egret is commonly seen in agricultural areas, pastures, and wetlands.
